Paul Chivers's question

I have had a new consumer unit fitted by a "rated people" tradesman and have a question for him but for some reason he doesn't seem to want to talk to me. The question I want to ask is there are 2 circuit breakers that are marked "mains sockets". If I switch one specific one off, it appears that all the sockets in the house go off. when I switch the second one, nothing seems to go off anywhere. is this simply explained by the fact the the second one is not connected to anything or should I be concerned??

Hi depends on the age of the house and was wired, Newly wired, up and down and kitchen sockets Old wired, could be on one. If it was not wired it would just be blank not sockets, or it's just bad work
