Mark is a lovely friendly chap. He did a good job on our garage conversion and offered advice. He was reliable. Done the job in the time given and is reasonable in prices. I would recommend him totally.

On time, very polite and personable. Came with the replacements for the items that were not working and the job was done quickly and neatly. Price was as discussed. Would recommend to anyone looking for an electrician.

I don’t think our experience could have been better. Mark came over for a quick look and quote. We then scheduled a day and time. He arrived 5 minutes early and did a great job. He even helped us put the washing machine back in place. We plan on calling him again for lights installations.

needed 1 new light switch installed and 1 switch relocated. wired lighting to socket circuit (not right), ruined wire in the process and left me without a power outlet in the room that I had to fix myself. charged me 40% more than original quotation on top of this due to time taken caused by his own mistake.. also didn't recess a plug I'd asked for so work not completed. I don't like giving negative reviews but £250 to create more work for myself is less than ideal. might as well have done the work myself.
When starting the job, the homeowner explained the electrics were in poor condition. Upon starting, it was clear lots of DIY electrics had been carried out. The broken cable was damaged for two reasons, first the cable had been put under strain over many years, secondly the cable was crushed overnight by a heavy bed. I only offered to fix the socket if time allowed. I kindly gave some cable free of charge to the customer. At the end of the completed job they were unable to pay on time as agreed.

It's strange that Spensley are claiming that the cable was due to "strain". Said cable was the socket power cable that he decided to wire the lighting to before I returned home from work and debated this. There was no need for this cable to be cut, wiring lights from power sockets is dangerous and against regulations. Payment was made once I'd returned home (for the second time) to check the work was completed and was paid that same day so his late payment claim is false.

Mark was quick to contact me and then able to arrange a preliminary look at the work required. He went through the process, costs involved and explained everything that would required. Managed to make an appointment to begin work at my earliest convenience. Arrived promptly on time and got straight to work. Work was completed in a short amount of time and exceeded the standard I had expected. I would fully recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician. Top man.

Good job done and reasonably priced, some dust sheets could have come in handy as the tiling in the kitchen had to be hammered away.
