Great service provided. He is polite and courteous and sorted out the problem with my electrics. Great price he quoted us for the work too.

Job- moving sockets and installing new sockets. After initially doing the hard dirty work of channeling through bricks and mortar and neatly installing cables, he let himself down by not finishing accurately. Shame as he appeared to be a good and conscientious worker.
Thank you for your feedback terry I did explain when I installed the back boxers that they needed to be built up with cement due to removing bricks the depth can vary on how they break off . It was tricky that your plasterer friend didn’t really fancy doing the job , if I was prepared to pop in and do it quickly when I was back in the country I’m sorry I’ve been so busy , I did a nice job and was very cheap as I included sockets and cable into my day rate , thanks for the work any how

Turned up an hour late, broke the tiles, and the power switch on the brand new unit is not wired in, so I have to switch on using the pull cord outside the shower.
The previous shower was siliconed on and joined with connectors really unsafe . The tiles aren’t cracked the grout is due to tiles vibrating
TRADESPERSON, 02/04/2019 12:59
I’d be happy to come and sort the grouting out free of charge
TRADESPERSON, 02/04/2019 12:59
I wasn’t prepared to use connector blocks to join the cable in the shower the unit has water and electricity inside it’s so dangerous to just join them . If you had purchased a like for like shower as I suggested there would have been no issues I’m happy to sort the grout for free . The cable wasn’t long enough and I’m not prepared to cut corners . I’m so sorry your not satisfied

Ok so update. The shower is now tripping the entire house when we try and turn it on using the pull cord.
We will be getting another electrician to come re fit it properly and check and re wire as needed. I will be asking for his assessment of the job and forwarding it to the appropriate people.

Shower is now not working.
HOMEOWNER, 08/04/2019 12:01
Look mate what’s your number I don’t want any hard feelings
TRADESPERSON, 15/04/2019 19:31
Had another electrician to examined the job. The switch that was “supposed” to be not wired in as the cable was “two short” was snapped (I have taken a photo) and he had attempted to glue it back but failed.
The wires in the pull cord were all burnt out. And the shower unit was built to not need all the excess silicone and that it was not allowing the unit to breathe. Causing condensation in the unit.

He said I would need to get a plumber to check it over as holes were drilled in the wrong places (and badly fitting) and not in the pre marked places with cutouts.
When I asked for a quote as a non trades person for someone to check the wiring and fit the shower, I expected a qualified person to look at the whole job including any re wiring/plumbing and give a price for the completed job to a good standard.
HOMEOWNER, 18/04/2019 18:48
I expect a refund of the £85 (which still leaves me out of pocket for the cost of a shower) or I will be taking it further.
HOMEOWNER, 18/04/2019 18:51
You need to get a Plummer to move the pipes as you didnt buy a like for like shower the entry hole for the water inlet was in a different position to the old one meaning it’s now slightly moved exposing abit of tile previously not on show hense why it wasn’t grouted I installed the shower correctly I’m happy to sort the grouting out , out of courtesy even though I told you the shower wasn’t the same . The old shower wasn’t drilled it was stuck on with silicone I can’t stress how dangerous that is !!
TRADESPERSON, 22/04/2019 21:03
It’s NOT correctly fitted, as it’s tripping the electric and is un usable. You broke the switch and told me it was not wired in, which was a total lie. And the wires in the pull switch are all burnt out. I will be reporting this after I get other people to fix the problem. I will be keeping all the receipts as evidence.
HOMEOWNER, 22/04/2019 21:50
Any further correspondence will be after it’s fixed and through a third party, as you are unwilling to acknowledge the job was below standard. I would have willingly paid more to get it done properly first time.
HOMEOWNER, 22/04/2019 21:58
Hiya Peter I’ve been trying to call you in regards to the job I’d like to come back and resolve any issues please could you call me
TRADESPERSON, 23/04/2019 10:22
An electrician has been and re wired the power supply and re fitted the shower (minus all the silicone). It now works as intended. AND IT ONLY COST ME AN ADDITIONAL £80. I will not be using TULEC again.

Lloyd replaced an old fusebox for me, he was very efficient and polite, he explained what needed to be done and what was involved, he responded quickly with a quote and he turned up on time to do the work. The price he quoted was very reasonable, I would definitely use him again for any future work I may need doing and would recommend him to anyone
