About Village Joinery

Here at village joinery, we're primarily, joiners. However I believe as did my father. That a joiner should be skilled enough to both Make and Fit. So that's what we do. We cover all aspects of joinery. Specialising in conservatorys & lightweight roofs

Couldn't fault Nigel and his welder mate (Dale) during the 5 days they were working on my project. Nigel was great from start to finish, even helped me and partner Vickie find a plasterer to assist with some existing issues. We can't fault the finished product, it looks amazing in the dining room and much better than we could have imagined. Thanks again Nigel on bringing to life our furniture ideas.

Builder

Nigel and Dale came round the same day I posted the job. They knew exactly what I wanted, sent me an estimate and drawings. I needed some help with design and Nigel was there with helpful suggestions. Design and price were agreed and date set. Work began on time and within less than a day I had a beautiful, character-adding porch on the front of my house. Quality excellent, they used the best products, they were professional and efficient and there were no hidden costs. Highly recommended.

Nigel knocked out old kitchen window which he cleared up and took away and installed new window. I'm very happy with the job and would definitely use again. On time, very tidy and did the job for the agreed price. TOP.

Hi Graeme. The minimum gap between any spindle is 100mm at the widest part of the profile. This is to stop a child getting there head stuck between the spindles. Some spindles when we fit are tapered in places. Because of this, I generally fit at 90mm for piece of mind.

Why is all the information I receive referring to Tradesmen? Are there no females listed as tradespeople?
  • Nigel Thompson's Answer

Is this really a serious question. Hasn't society gone mad enough, It's been called tradesmen from the beginning. That could mean tradesMEN or tradesWO(men) We are all aware of women taking on different roles within the construction industry, and I hope like them many more take it up. But seriously, is there any need for such a question.
