I have a Grohe mixer tap that I need installing to replace the existing tap. The Grohe's flexible pipes have 15mm (3/8th) female terminals but the water pipes they need to connect to appear to have 22mm male threads.
Responded to the quote request promptly. Made an appointment to visit between 11am and 12pm, at 12pm I texted to ask if he was on his way and he replied saying that he'd be at least another 2 hours. I understand that jobs can take longer than planned but he made no effort to contact me to advise of the delay. Pretty poor. Obviously I can't comment on quality or value.

We require a plumber/heating engineer for the following work: 1. Plumbing works associated with the refurbishment of an en suite shower room. Detailed drawings have been produced for the en suite setting out all elements. In addition, a scope of works specifies the specification requirements, with the exception of the heated towel rail, which is also to provide the space heating. The successful plumber will be required to advise on the appropriate product for this. The sanitaryware can be contractor or client supplied, subject to agreement. 2. Heating improvements, including replacing existing radiators and installation of new radiators. Radiators are to be from the Myson Decor Range and have already been sized. Preferably the radiators and all associated valves etc will be supplied by the plumber, however this can be discussed. 3. Associated with the replacement and additional radiators, we require the plumber to review the output of the existing boiler and advise of alterations recommended, if any, to ensure that it can meet the output demands from the radiators. 3. Relocation of an oil tank, which currently sits right at our only entrance/exit point to the property. The successful plumber will need to advise on a suitable location for the oil tank and all associated works to connect the system. BWICS can be provided by the successful plumber or alternatively, we will get a builder to price these works. The works are to be carried out in conjunction with other refurbishment works in the property and a builder & electrician have already been appointed for these. The successful plumber is required to work collaboratively with the builder to deliver a quality finished product. Note that the property has been vacated to allow works to progress without issues of keeping the place habitable at the end of the working day. The works are ready to commence from next week and are expected to take around 3 weeks, so immediate availability is desirable.
