Original : I am going to Bagshaws Property Auction on 24th October to bid on chapel in CasleDonnington and would like some advice prior to bidding on the cost of my priorities. 1 to make good roof re slipped/broken slates. 2 Putting in a damp proof course.3 putting in drains,water and power. 4 making doors and windows secure. Initially I intend to "camp out" in it once these are achieved(also there is a resident fox but I think I can deal with that!!!) while I put a full schedule together of how I want to carry out the renovation from Chapel to domestic dwelling. It is a listed building. I am only interested in bidding on the Chapel. There is a second lot which is the Hall adjacent.
Quality is based on meetings and compilation of estimates requested. Also the advice given in relation to the tasks being proposed.

A gable end external stone wall. Abuting one storey extension to the existing stone wall. Dampness occurs internally over the entrance into the one storey extension ,occasionally ,when the wind and rain is driving hard at the external stone gable wall above the extension.
The Managing director made an initial home visit to us and did a survey of the job. His manner was very friendly, very articulate and proffessional. He gave us confidece in his professional knowledge and skill. His team followed in less than a week and completed the job in under a day. They too were friendy and professional. They under stood the every day working of a home and did they best to accommodate this ,getting on with the work and remaining as unobtrusive a possible.
