Hello. I've been trying to get some quotes and some ideas on what to update my boiler to here on ratedpeople. I've come to understand how this site works for traders and I get that quoting isnt necessarily worth it. So i thought i'd look for ideas through this Ask section.
I've a floor standing conventional boiler that sits in my kitchen and has an out directly through an exterior wall. The boiler feeds a property with 12-13 radiators and 2 bathrooms. Water pressure is generally good but can occasionally be indifferent.
The water tank is in the loft, but i'm not looking at developing the loft in the short-medium term. The hot water tank sits in a cupboard in a bedroom above the kitchen - i appreciate it takes up a bit of room, but again i'm not looking to develop that room.
So with this all in mind, i think it makes sense just to replace what i've got with the same.
I'm not bothered about waiting for the water to warm up, but what else am i missing in terms of advantages of changing to something else? Would something different work out cheaper?
Hoping someone can help.
Thanks, PT
