Phil Spencer, Fiona Fullerton, Abigail Ahern and Toby Buckland are all part of our ambassador stable and they will be providing useful tips and advice on the Rated People blog and Rated People TV. Read their bios below and get to know them.
Phil Spencer doesn’t need much of an introduction, he’s TV’s most well-known property presenter, having co-presented Location, Location, Location and Relocation, Relocation for over 10 years.
Phil started his property career as a surveyor, went on to work as an estate agent and then set up his own property search firm. Apart from a successful TV career, Phil has also written 2 property books and hosted a radio show on Classic FM in 2011.
Interior designer and author Abigail Ahern has been hailed as ‘style spotter extraordinaire’ , by The Times. Her style is as unique as it is affordable and is characterised by glamour, wit and show-stopping colours. Abigail has made appearances in TV programmes, radio shows and magazines and currently runs her own Design School, with classes in the UK, New York and Australia. She can also be found blogging or tweeting extensively about her experiences as an interior designer. Abigail runs her empire from her shop Atelier Abigail Ahern, in London’s Islington neighbourhood.
Property expert, writer, TV presenter and former actress – Fiona Fullerton’s career is as varied as it is impressive. With the property column Ask Fiona in The Mail on Sunday, she was nominated as “Property Journalist of the Year” in 2004. She has also had her own column in the Daily Telegraph and has contributed features to the Daily Mail and the Sunday Times, to mention but a few.
Fiona has a portfolio of flats, houses and offices in London and Oxford, which she also manages. She’ll be sharing her extensive knowledge of the property world on the Rated People blog.
Known primarily as the TV presenter of Gardeners’ World, Toby Buckland is now focusing on his online nursery where he sells his own range of products, including flowers, herbs and shrubs.
As a trained horticulturist, Toby has written 5 gardening books and he also regularly contributes to a handful of magazines and newspapers, such as The Guardian and The English Garden. In 2008 Toby won the RHS Gold and Best in show for his Ethical Garden at Gardeners’ World Live.
