Advise on replacing an old cooker

Posted by Nathan Brown, on
I have just brought a house built in the 50s it has an existing gas only cooker which has a cooker switch offset behind it, the cooker switch currently sits 50cm to the bottom of the switch from the hob apparently I cannot have a new cooker installed with the switch in the current position but I have no alternatives as the only other wall it could sit on the gap is less than 300mm from a sink which is also apparently a no no. is there a solution Pics available
