|With pipework||No pipework|
Installing a new appliance, such as a washing machine, washer-dryer, dishwasher or dryer is very much bread and butter work for your plumber. If you have not had a similar appliance before, or if you are moving appliances, then your tradesman will have to plumb it into the water supply and hook it up to an outlet for drainage.
They will then run the machine to make sure that it works. Where you are replacing an old appliance then your plumber will simply hook the new appliance up to the existing set up, replacing any hoses or pipes as necessary. They may also take away any old appliances (always check this first). Many appliance retailers offer this install and take away service as a part of their after-sales service nowadays.
