Heated towel rail

Low High
Heated towel rail £50 £200

Having a heated towel rail in your bathroom may seem like something of a luxury, but if you have the space then it is a great addition and can work as a radiator to keep the room warm too. The kind of towel rail you choose will determine which trade you need to call in. But most will plump for the convenience of a towel rail that is plumbed into the central heating system by a plumber, over an electric heater, that you will need an electrician to put in.

This should be a simple task for an experienced plumber to undertake, as the towel rail will simply be connected to the same pipework that serve your heating system. Some pipework may need to be done to run this to the bathroom and that will be the main labour and parts cost. The overall budget will, naturally, depend on the model you choose, which can vary from standard models to modern design pieces that will really make a great finish for your bathroom.
