I have noticed some damp in the back upstairs bedroom I didnt have a bag against the wall.
I have had conflicting opinions two people said it could be down to condensation but my wall does have a small crack from when the wind does were replaced so one guy is recommending that we just repaint that bit of the back of the house and another guy suggested a re pointing my whole back wall! No wounderes builders get a bad rep with all the competing information ease can some one advise if it would be the whole wall needed re pointing or justvtbe area where the crack is?
My house is old and the mortar is black ash and there are parts which are to me soft as it can create dust if rubbed but other bits are fine. What do people recommend.
