Without knowing what your are doing it is hard to answer, however i think it is very unlikely that this would be allowed as fire doors need to close automatically when someone passes through. I imagine you a trying to keep the space versatile therefore possibly leaving the space open from time to time, this would contravene building regs in my opinion. You really need to speak to your Building Control Officer.
