If the damp is penetrating and not coming from above ie roof, then hacking off the old render and replacing with a 2 coat render system (with a waterproof additive such as Sika1) should solve the problem.

If I have the rendering removed from my extension, seal the bricks & re-rendered the walls would that help eliminate damp problems? If not, what is recommened?
