Got a garage attached to house (accessed by door from hall). It has nothing above it. Want to convert to play room do I need architect or just get builders in?

hi from your question I think it be wise to get architect to see what stucture is the garage build,and if you get local builder to quote for you to undrstand were you at with cost. Generaly for existing garage convertion you just need BUILING REG. to make sure electric,wall insulation, atc is done by Regul......ok hope I help and good luck . Tomas
