First of all you could insulate the exterior walls, quickest way would be to have Thermaboard (insulated plasterboard) fitted and skimmed, also have insulation fitted between the floor joists and in the loft space. Might be an idea to have a couple of hit & miss air vents installed to allow air to circulate too.
