I recently had 4 quotes done for a job. One tradesman called me and I informed him we decided to chose someone else to do the job. At this point his attitude changed and he was quite abusive. He has stated that he will bill me for the quote, although no written quote was given. he must've checked my job for no more than 20 minutes and gave a verbal guess estimation. Rated people have suggested I do not pay for the quote and I know that he received his money back from them. Where do I stand with this?

This is the closest you are going to get to terrorism! You have no obligation to pay him. Forget it. Go to the rated people rating page and write your comments for that quotation, please

Hi Gemma unfortunately rated cant screen out idiot tradesman that join this site so if you can politely tell him to do one. And if he still persists contact rated and I would like to think they would consider removing him from the site. hope this kinder helps shawn slb brickwork
