John, You need to get a local builder in to look at what you are proposing and if possible. If so then get a quote from them to see what the cost would be.

I am looking to add some space to semi detached with a very sloped driveway.
I currently have a detached garage and at the bottom of the driveway and a small crawl space under the house.
It might be possible to dig down or extend to include the garage area, issue being the slope down towards the back of the house.
I really just need ideas and advice on different costs before I secure any finances
