No lintels over my windows,

I have cracks under my windows and have been told that its because i have no lintels over the windows and pvc window frames flex and cause the cracks. do i get a builder to refit the windows with lintels or a window fitter to do it

1) if there were no lintels above the windows they would not open and the glass would crack. PVC windows do not 'flex' enough to cause structural damage, in fact they are very stable in comparison to timber for example. The advice you have received so far is incorrect .
