In almost all cases, a lateral crack is not structural. Quessing at a possible cause, a previous damp proof render has been allied to the interior wall to a height between .9 and 1.2M , the render is too hard for the wall and is coming away slowly. If this is not the case , it would be an other render rated problem . Get a CSRT surveyor to look at it .
