Our chimney breast has been removed but our neighbours hasn't so she has the chimney stack and chmney breast form top to bottom. Our wall is damp where our chikney breast used to be. It's the internal wall that connects the two houses but I can't tell if this is due to a fail damp course or due to rain coming down our neighbours chimney as the chimney pots do not have cowls on them.
