Builder or a carpenter to re-level wonky room?

Posted by Charlotte Merrill, on
Not sure if we need a builder or a carpenter for a job involving re-levelling floorboards and replacing joists in a room which has become wonky due to subsidence. The subsidence is now fixed with underpinning, but the room is unusable as a bedroom due to at least 6 inches of difference between one end and the other.

Hi Charlotte a good carpenter or competent builder would be able to re level a floor, although the 6" difference in level does sound quite alarming! Post your job on Rated People to obtain up to 3 quotations. Thanks. Ed.
