There are times when rain comes in under my kitchen door.

Posted by dianne darak, on
I think it may be when the wind is blowing in a certain direction and the rain is particularly heavy. At present I have a concrete step out of the kitchen which lies under the weatherboard at the bottom of the door. Any suggestions as to how this can be remedied please?

Hello Dianne, you would ideally have a timber sill or threshold under the door but as you haven't there are a number of metal thresholds you can buy that provide a seal under the door and stop the rain coming in, have a look at ironmongerydirect, Alternatively you could just screw a strip to the bottom edge on the inside face of your door. Good luck.
