Relocate door

I would like to relocate an internal door, and close up the space the door has been moved from. I think neither of the spaces is load bearing. What sort of tradesperson do I need to do this job?

Hi Penny, If taking out a door in loadbearing wall it should have lintel anyway, best to get builder in incase lintel needed for other doorway they should be able to advise, Best Wishes Adrian Freeman and Green

Hi penny, If the walls inside house are solid when you tap them I.e either brick or block then you will need a bricklayer, joiner and plasterer. If they are made of plasterboard then you will need a joiner only. The most cost effective solution would be the joiner only option. Dave Edinburgh Stonecraft
