How U can make 25 times more money on ratedpeople as they claim?

Posted by Name the fake Vigilante, on
How do you justify the cost of Rated People? We charge a simple membership fee with an additional fee for every job lead you wish to quote on. Lead prices are determined by the job?s size, scope, location and demand for the skills required to carry it out. On average, our tradesmen win 1 in every 3 job leads they purchase with an average job value of £1,200. At an average cost of £15 per lead, that?s a profit of over 25 times your money. This is completelly fake .. I spend £6000 last year and not even get £15000 ..please m8 look somewhere better place ...

Hello Fake, Interesting question There is money to be made on this site if you are realistic on your costs. You may have been charging to much or purchasing the wrong kind of leads. Rated are trying to be fair and strangely they are about to change the way they operate. I've looked at it very carefully and can agree to all but one point, that point is this :- If you purchase a job and are then told that the job as gone ! By the customer then that's not a lead given (you can't be blamed for not being the first person to call) sometimes people don't want any more quotes they are happy with yours. It will be an interesting time for all. I'd like it to work Personally I don't think this will work. Summery: is that if it didn't work for you then, it's not going to work for you now.

Hi I have tried to answer this question three times and am apparently using 'restricted text' whatever that is! I think they mean criticism, Report a Lead changes big mistake! There will be alot of unhappy tradesmen!

You spent £6k on leads last year and only netted £15k....... No offence but if your written quotes are no better than what you have typed above I'm not surprised. I would suggest looking at your sales skills, maybe seek some small business advice, ensure your documentation is correct, professional and appealing to potential clients. I run a very successful company and it started right here, clearly your either in the wrong game or trying to achieve something you never will. Rated People supply leads, they do not supply you the ability to win work, make a profit or become a success.......that's down to you.

Good morning! We're sorry that you feel this way. As Michael suggests, you can maximise the money that you make, depending on which job leads you purchase. While you may not win every lead you purchase (including if the homeowner cancels the job), you are making valuable connections by quoting on a job. If you feel as if you're not winning enough jobs, we have some tips to help you which could see you carry out more jobs and earn more money: 1) Keep your profile up to date with your qualifications, specialities and photos of past work 2) Build up low-cost, easy-to-service leads 3) Contact the customer immediately when you buy a job lead 4) Give a thorough, detailed quote and provide references 5) Always ask for ratings after you've completed a job. We have also cut our job lead prices this week and have new membership packages that offer further savings so if you would like to discuss this with a member of the team, we would encourage you to get in touch: http://www.ratedpeople.com/contact-us/contact-us-form. We hope that both yourself and Michael will see value in these new changes in the new year! Best Wishes, RP
