Best to find a good builder , , sound like need a new ceiling ,timber prob bowed ,just guessing but to put new ceiling and down lights and have ceiling plaster and painted prob talking between ,but I would see the job first and investigate why old ceiling is uneven , a normal size bedroom wouldn't need more than 8 lights
Hello S, You would need to budget yourself £2000 for all the works. But because you are involving several job you will need a builder to organise it for you. Simply put you job onto rated people's site and you will receive 3 quote all the trades on this site should be good. You will receive the following if you put you job on this site. 1) A free quote 2) Free advice like you are getting now BUT they will see it more clearly when on site 3) You are not even obliged to use any of the quotes given. If you feel covertable with what you are being told then you can proceed if you wish. 4) If you're not happy with the response then put the job on again.you will then receive 3 more quotes I hope this helps you.
