Removing chimney breast

Posted by Kayleigh Brandon, on
Want to fit a new kitchen in a room with a chimney breast. Would be nice to have a square room to work with but I understand a steel joist would be required to support upper floors etc. Is it worth the hassle of all this? What is the likely region of the cost? Thanks
