Correct procees to remove grass area on driveway 5x8m and costs

Hi, we have a patch of grass on our front driveway which we park on, (not ideal but hey), due to the heavy rain we have had we have absolutely destroyed it, the grass area is just under 5m by 8m, the rest of the driveway is tarmacked. we would like to know the correct method that should be undertaken to remove the grass and tarmac ie hardcore, compacted, how much etc what is the proper way of carry out the work? as i don't want someone to just poor tarmac over the grass as that wont last!
