Builders

Posted by Evelyn Talmy, on
Over the last week or so damp patches have appeared on one interior wall of my house near the windows. These patches have white crystals on them. The affected wall is the outer wall: my house is end of terrace. The outside of the house has an uneven surface as the bricks have been covered with concrete and painted. So I can't see if the damp is a result of inadequate rendering, or is something to do with the windows. All the damp is near the windows, which are double glazed but over ten years ago. What do you think could be the cause please?
