Re concrete

I refer to the question of mixing ratios for concrete. The answer I received was pretty damned obvious to the point of being sarcastic. I am a expat Englishman live in Thailand, which doesn't change the question, and the instructions are in Thai.

David, 6 concrete chips, 4 concrete sand, 1cement. That's for general purpose concrete mix. Remember david that water finds its own level so the wetter you make the mix the hard it becomes to work. I would also suggest once you have poured your concrete to cover it with hessian sacks and dampen them as you live in a very humid climate and you must stop the concrete from setting too quickly. Technical term: curing. Dave

hi david i would get ballast in. as this has stone and sand already mixed in so al you would have to do is put cement in. 4 and 1 cement mix is what you need as it has too be strong with being a drive hope this helps .thanks ben mbc builders
