Remove chimney breast in kitchen, upstairs is removed

Posted by Claire Myers, on
The chimney has already been removed upstairs and supported. But want to remove the downstairs part. What type of support is needed for the ceiling? How long does the job take? And roughly ow much?

The fact that upper chimney has been removed then the lower part can be removed easily. I don't see the need for rsj support timber supports to form ceiling/floor should be enough. Not easy to guess a cost but your job is one of the easier ones and should be reflected in cost. Donald
