We live in a old barn and some parts of the wall has salts coming through this is on brick walls can anyone tell me how to solve this problem regards Paul

If this was a barn used by live stock , the salts will be Uric acid , if not , it will be silt hates and nitrates . All of these salts will pass through most renders and is difficult to apply successfully . I would recommend going on the Delta website and looking at the dimpled membranes . They can be plastered over with 100% success .
