Pointing work coming out after 12 months

We had our house pointed in May 2013. We have noticed quite a lot of places where it has come out. We have also noticed water coming through the walls with the weather like it's been. We got the builder from this web site is there anything we can do as we are completely unsatisfied with this job

I had to take all pointing out on a similar job to what you are talking about sounds like they have just done cosmetic job it should have all been machined out to a good depth and hosed down

Hi Joanne You should contact the builder you used and ask him to return and put it right, if he will not return, contact the admin staff at rated people and report the bad job. if you did not rate him on the web site after the work you may still be able to, but do not give him a bad rating unless he will not come back. he can`t fix it if does not know about it.
