Hi Sam Is hard to say as there may be some regional differences in pricing . There is little difference where I am in Surrey but I would say tarmac and PIC are around the same per square metre £50- £60 complete job and the cheapest block paving around £60- 70 psm I would personally go for block paving over the other two. Finding a decent PIC contractor will be difficult wherever you are and if done incorrectly looks awful and there is no way to correct it. Research your contractor thoroughly and ask for plenty of references and ask to visit previous jobs and customers, also ask for a guarantee. Hope this helps Mark Surrey Hills Landscaping
