We are looking at internal upstairs reconfiguration of our property. One option would involve removal of a second chimney (not the main one on the joining wall). The chimney upstairs is around 40cm x 40cm, so not large, larger downstairs. My question is, would it work our any cheaper to remove the small chimney upstairs & in attic, but block in the downstairs or swap gas fire for electric rather than removing the whole lot? Thanks
