Tieing back a bowed exterior wall

Posted by James Dunn, on
We are looking to get a estimate of the cost of tieing back an external brick wall on the side of an end of terrace 1900's 2 bed house. Our surveyor states "The wall itself is bowed at the side entrance position due to lack of any lateral restraint from the timber first floors as the joists run parallel to the wall." The amount of bowing is approx 30-35mm and we have been advised that the wall should be restrained to the joists running parallel to it. Can someone please advise how much this might cost? many thanks James Dunn
