Structural Engineer or Surveyor

I live in a victorian semi detached house and it has come to my attention that the enclosed beam above my front bay window is not straight and that it could be due to original timber beam being affected by water ingress. A friend has suggested I should get someone in to investigate whether the extent of the issue. My question is should I get in a surveyor, structural engineer or builder?
