Not good

Posted by Janice England, on
What happens when a tradesman on your website does not do a good job ?

Dee Verma

hi Janice, I am very sorry to hear of your disappointment. i would personally get in touch with the HEAD of customer services team and lodge a complaint - depending on the issues, ask the question why has this trades person been allowed to do the work if he or she was not capable of carrying it out in the first place; if its the quality of work that's the issue. The vetting procedure - if there is one, has failed. at the same time Rated People do not guarantee the consumer anything as this is a site that simply posts your job on line and the so called tradesperson simply picks the job of the board that he or she wants to quote on. its up to you to do the homework on the company, the tradesperson and his experience if he or she's up to the job. i am sorry to say that there are many like you in the same boat because i do come across them in my travel. Sadly Rated People have allowed every man and his dog to join; hence the above.

Hi Janice. If a tradesmen does a poor job and it was via rated people, then leave a negative rating so others can make a more informed choice when considering using him/her. Hope this helps Cheers, Matt

Hi Janice, I'm very sorry to hear that. As Matt advised, you can leave a rating to make others aware of your experience and may also prompt the tradesman to rectify any issues you have. Our Performance Audit team are also there to help you discuss this further and provide you with advice on how best to proceed from here: http://www.ratedpeople.com/contact-us/contact-us-form.
