More bedrooms

Posted by Lee Colley, on
I live in a 1950's bungalow which is three bed at the moment. The previous owner has already extended along the side of the property increasing the size/footprint of the property (flat roof). Its a strange layout which will eventually need re gigging. Although I now require a fourth bedroom, obviously a loft conversion seems the answer but the property does have a large kitchen which could be used better. Loft conversions seem very expensive so would I be better exploring this option? Also would I need an architect or would a builder be able to advise on options available to me? cost is as always paramount
