Shed base

What is the minimum amount of space required to build an 8x6 shed? The space I have approx. 9.8x7.8 -is this big enough or is more space required to allow for the build? I am also looking for someone to build a shed base - does this fall in the 'Builders' category? Many thanks in advance.

Hi Sandro. The space you have available will be fine to erect an 8x6 shed. Remember that generally the size quoted for a shed is the total O/a size including the roof overhang so the shed sides will be smaller thus taking less room.
