Rodents have borrowed passages in our foundation. Advice required!

Posted by Gurpal Ghataora, on
Apologies as I am not skilled in the building world but i will provide the best information i can give! We have had some recent rodents emerge from beneath our flooring. They have made entrance tunnels around waste pipes and gas meters. I had taken a picture and we have a sand foundation, that was covered by blue plastic sheet with concrete poured on top. I have a feeling the tunnels run through the whole house maybe. I wanted to know if there is a way to refill these tunnels without taking off all the flooring? Or is there other methods to pest proof it?

hello Gurpal, once they are in its near on impossible to get them out. try rat poison at the entrance and remove all water from your surroundings because once they have taken the bait it makes them very thirsty and they will come out to drink - if there is no water they will find it difficult to survive. also you can use high pitch sonic noise boxes, available on the internet. the pitch is very high which the humans cant hear but animals cant stand and move away. buy a few and place them around the house where you think they are. you could also get a big cat.
