I have an end of terrace house, 30yrs old. The front door opens, down 2 steps on to the pavement (which I own). I need to provide wheelchair access for my wife. I have space for a 4metre long slope across the front of the house and approx. 1.5metre square platform outside the front door. The house is constructed of synthetic stone. Should I consider a stone construction or timber one.
