I want to open a disused fireplace in bathroom and create an opening to install a basin and pedistal.
It has a normal size chimney with a void to the right which is 12 inches wide partitioned by english bond brickwork 4inch external and internal
The outer wall is again 4inch with english bond.
Am i okay to span front bricks with concrete lintel and also internal pillars with same lintels onto a 4inch external wall ?
