How do I repair a heave in solid floor

Have a small heave in extension. On purchasing house 30 yrs ago all floors had to be dug out due to ash problem causing heaves. Not sure why 3m x 4m extension to back of house was not done at the time. Will this floor have to be dug out and at what expense or is there an alternative solution. thanks
