Unfortunately Tara, most Councils don't allow gallows brackets any more, and want steels tied in to the walls, to offer better support.

I am in the process of buying a house, the survey has thrown up partially removed chimney breast and unsupported stack. How much roughly to install gallows brackets and how long roughly would it take, I dont want to inconvenience the vendor much
