Hi Amelia as long as no restrictions have been placed on the times work can take place then he is with in rights to work on a Sunday, if he is working in the week then weekends are the only time he can do it! The work isn't going to last forever so it's not worth falling out over, hopefully he is starting and finishing at a reasonable time.It's always amazing how doing a few home improvements brings out the green eyed monster in neighbours! Ed

You would have to speak to the council to see if work hours have been restricted as part of planning approval, if not then you can't stop them working weekends
