Hi Tiggy Fire breast removal by its nature is the most messy labour intensive and dusty ie sooty job the older the property is. Dust penetration can be minimised by sealing affected rooms off. The main problem is getting the waste rubble away skip or grab truck access etc etc If the chimney stack is still in place then you expanded the job two fold and will require scaffolding and a roofer to patch opening.. Any good tradesman would take the mess issue seriously and act accordingly Hope this is of some help Steve Beale
