Processes for remival if load bearing wall.

I have a load bearing wall to be removed. Someone said i need building nitices and structural calculations. What is the process re building notices and calculations? Would i do this myself or would a builder do everything for me?

Hi Karen, The best solution for your question is to get in touch with a structural engineer, he will be able to give you the correct calculations for your wall removal and also guide you through the building regulations. Regards. Jason
