I live in a terraced house built pre 1930 and the neighbours are smokers. I was wondering what remedial work would be needed to prevent the smell of cigarette smoke coming through the bedroom wall. i am considering getting the whole chimney (stack and breasts on both floors) removed and have the full wall in that bedroom cemented and replastered but not sure if that will cure the problem. Any advise would be welcomed.
