Hi Paul, This is difficult to advise without seeing the problem and the material. Is it sandstone? and how bad is it? Sandstone can be repaired as can concrete or, they may need replaced depends on the extent of the damage. If you can send pics. I can advise you further. either way you need a company who knows what they are doing and should be able to show you previous work. If they suggest the can cement a sandstone repair run a mile Please get back if I can help further
